Gracie's Entertainment

This is how Gracie keeps herself entertained. I can only imagine what she will convince him to do.

Give it to Mikey...........Or Maybe Not

Obviously Hunter hasn't refused any bottles in his lifetime. His food taste are another story. He eats everything that we give him but he has a few preferences. He will not eat plain cereal it has to have fruit mixed in and green beans has to be joined with applesauce. And pretty much all veggies will be spit back at me at some point. Now I realize he is an Eslick so I am sure he will eat much more than most kids but this little bit of pickyness might be my only proof that he is mine.

She has style

My instructions were to play outside you need pants and shoes. This is what she came up with it. When I told her the pants are on inside out she tucked the tag in and said now they are not. And you really can't argue with that logic. Plus I think the red shoes are a perfect match for her inside out pants, and backwards pajama top. And by the way after all of this she never did make it outside.

2009

For the past two years there has been a challenge at scrapfreak to come upwith a word for the year. Last year I chose patience. And trust me patience is hard to achieve when you are 9 months pregnant, it is like 210 degrees outside and not one but two hurricanes threatened our area but anyway that was last year. This year I chose control. There are a few areas of my life that I want to gain control of such as finances, my temper, cleaning the house. The usual stuff. But most of all I want to control my time. I want to enjoy the kids for the age they are right now and not push them to grow up because it goes fast enough. Of course I figure that drinking more (and I don't mean water) won't hurt my mood any. So anyway here are a few pictures of us enjoying the start of the new year with our family and friends. And as always there are a few to prove some more that Gracie really can sleep through anything. Including freezing cold temperatures and the explosions I mean Uncle Carey's midnight firework show.

Big Sister and Little Brother

I expected our spoiled little girl to have trouble adjusting to someone else stealing the spotlight. But thankfully we have not experienced that. As long as we give her as many hugs and kisses she is happy. And as you can tell she honestly adores her baby brother.

And Hunter doesn't need any toys because he is always entertained when Gracie is around. So maybe that is why she likes him so much. to her he is just another member of the audience.
