The Elves

A tradition at our house is to have the elves visit everyday starting 12 days before Christmas. The elves leave a little something in our stockings if we were good that day. They come to check up on us so they can report to Santa. This was pictures from their first visit this year.

Photo a Day Part 2 and 3

This is the picture from January 2nd. Gracie was doing her own photo a day.

This is my picture from January 3rd. I told Gracie to pick up her crayons and for the first time ever she did what I told her to. I thought it might be the only time that ever happened so I figured I better document it.

Scrapfreak is having a photo a day challenge. I am not sure how many I will take but it will be great way to remember the year. So here is my first one.

Santa Claus aka Uncle Kenny

Today we went to the fire station to see Santa. Every year they give out presents to the kids and grandkids. Uncle Kenny dresses as Santa and each kid gets a present. We didn't know how Gracie would react since her past sightings of Santa were not good. But she had no problem getting her present from him. I am not sure if she knew his voice or if she just wanted her present.

Christmas in the Oaks

Last weekend we took Gracie and Emma to Celebration in the Oaks. I don't think we looked at many lights but they had a lot of fun in Storybook Land. So much fun that they couldn't be bothered to take pictures but I snuck a few.

Santa Parade

A few weeks ago we went to a Christmas parade at Aunt Amanda's in Norco. Gracie and Lily had a lot of fun collecting beads and candy. Of course they were both sleeping by the time Santa passed. Than that night we went to see the Christmas lights in Westwego.
